Friday 25 September: the final concert of the season at the Guinguette des Sardines

On Friday evening, we’re bringing the season to a close where we kick it off almost every year: at the Guinguette des Sardines in Lons. See you there at 8 pm – entry is free.

September at the Guinguette

The Guinguette is a terrace, wooden tables and a stage set up there, without any fuss. In August, we play amidst the glasses and chatter, on an evening that seems to go on forever. By the end of September, it’s a different story: the evenings have grown shorter, the audience gathers closer to the stage, and the concert takes on the feel of a finale.

It’s our favourite time of year there.

What we’ll be playing

An evening as a duo, and mostly covers. We cast our net wide, from one era and one style to the next: there’ll be something for every taste.

All of it in its most stripped-back form: two voices, the instruments, and nothing to hide behind. And a few of our own songs will slip in among them.
