Our mashup: ‘Demons’ by Imagine Dragons meets ‘Sunday Bloody Sunday’

Two songs that were never meant to meet, and yet go so well together: ‘Demons’ by Imagine Dragons and ‘Sunday Bloody Sunday’ by U2. Our mashup of the two tracks is now online.

Why these two?

The idea came from something that struck us as obvious during rehearsals: both tracks share the same pent-up tension, the same way of keeping the anger bottled up until the chorus. Blending them together required almost no effort – just finding the exact point where one gives way to the other.

It’s the sort of exercise we enjoy: it forces you to listen differently to songs you thought you knew by heart.
