A look back at the concert on 27 January 2024 at the Espace James Chambaud
The concert on at the Espace James Chambaud in Lons will remain one of TidyMess’s greatest live memories. Intense, vibrant, full of emotion - and carried by a large audience.
A concert like that takes months of work: writing, composition, arrangements, rehearsals, ideas for staging, videos and lighting, venue hire, administrative tasks, ticketing, promotion, security, hospitality, preparing the rewards for the crowdfunding campaign and merchandise.
The musicians
Nathalie Biarnés, Thibaut Dasté, Philippe Ichas, Vincent Maingueux and Olivier Pelfigues accompanied Nelly and Thomas - for their talent, their dedication, and the deeply human moments shared both on stage and off.
The string quartet
Evelyne Berlancourt (first violin), Gaël Bacqué (second violin), Damien Bec (viola) and Sophie Bacqué (cello) joined the duo on stage for a moment of suspended time.
Three songs had been re-orchestrated for them by Nathalie Biarnés.
The choreography
Laura Goret and Luc Nzogue created a powerful and poignant choreography for ‘Nature morte’.

The charity and the volunteers
