THANK YOU!
It’s done, and just as we’d hoped, we’re feeling proud and happy!
What a magical evening for us! One of those that will stay with us forever…
We’ve worked so hard to prepare for this concert: writing, composing, arranging, rehearsals, ideas for staging, videos and lighting, booking the venue, admin, ticketing, promotion, security, hospitality, preparing the rewards and merchandise…
It was all worth it because the moment more than lived up to our expectations: intense, vibrant, full of emotion! And because we received such a wonderful outpouring of love from this huge and lively audience. Thank you for coming, for your warm welcome, your energy and your kind words as we left the stage 🥰
A huge thank you:
– To our beloved musicians for their immense talent, their dedication, their commitment and the deeply human moments we share with them, both on and off stage: Nathalie Biarnés, Thibaut Dasté, Philippe Ichas, Vincent Maingueux, Olivier Pelfigues❤️
– To the string quartet who did us the honour and pleasure of joining us on stage for that magical and deeply moving moment: Evelyne Berlancourt (first violin), Gaël Bacqué (second violin), Damien Bec (viola), Sophie Bacqué (cello).
– To Nathalie Biarnés for her incredible re-orchestration, which brought out the very best in three of our songs with this quartet.
– To Laura Goret and Luc Nzogue for their powerful and poignant choreography for our song ‘Nature morte’.
– To the brilliant technical team who enabled us to put on a top-quality concert: Greg Corso, Sébastien Feugas, William Renard, Dimitri Simonin.
– To the Sans contrefa’sons association and the volunteers for their invaluable help, without whom none of this would have been possible: Patricia, Dominique, Marie-Claude, Bernard, Elodie, Thierry, Clo, Kiki, Francis, Mathias, Mappy, Dan.
– To the whole team at the Espace James Chambaud for letting us hire the venue and for their warm welcome and support, both backstage and on stage.
– To the brilliant team of photographers and videographers: Au coeur d’un regard photographies, Angélique Devérité, Brice Avril, Eddy Gobeaut and Ewan.
– To Rachel Bourgeot for make-up – always there, dedicated and in good spirits!
– To all the media outlets that helped us with promotion: La République des Pyrénées, the Sud-Ouest newspaper, France Bleu Béarn Bigorre, 7Radio, NRJ Pau, Radio Inside, L’Ecran du Son, Presslib’.
We’ll be heading back into the studio soon to carry on recording this second album – it’s still going strong!
And if you know any concert venue bookers, festival organisers, producers, press officers or record labels… please do spread the word about TidyMess, because after a moment like this, we’ve got just one wish: for the adventure to carry on, getting stronger and bigger all the time!
THANK YOU
