TidyMess for the Telethon in Lons, 30 November 2024
On at 8.30 pm, TidyMess returned to the stage at the Espace James Chambaud in Lons.
An evening in aid of the Telethon
It was organised by the Lons-based charity Lous Caminayres, with all proceeds going to the Telethon.
This wasn’t the first time: the duo had already performed for the Telethon at this venue in December 2022.
Seeing the duo perform at this venue again
Above all, it was an opportunity for those who had been unable to attend the concert in January 2024 to see TidyMess again at the Espace James Chambaud - the venue where the duo had performed as a septet, accompanied by a string quartet, ten months earlier.
Nelly and Thomas were accompanied by their five musicians, with a video installation. The duo rarely have the chance to perform in this set-up, or in venues offering such technical facilities. Price: €12, free for under-16s; tickets available online or at the door on the night itself.
The concert was part of the build-up to the album Yin Yang, which was then in the process of being recorded.
