TidyMess for the Telethon at the Espace James Chambaud, 3 December 2022
On at 8.00 pm, TidyMess took to the stage at the Espace James Chambaud in Lons (Pyrénées-Atlantiques) for a concert in aid of the Telethon.
A sneak preview of the new arrangements
The duo performed using their ‘TidyMachine’, presenting some of their songs in reworked arrangements. It was these versions that would go on to form De Concert, De Nouveau, the expanded reissue of their debut album - eighteen tracks, including seven previously unreleased ones, released on 27 October 2023, nearly a year later.
In other words, the audience in Lons heard, that evening, a preview of what would become an album.
Ticket prices for the evening
Unnumbered seated tickets: €10. Standing tickets: €8. Free for under-14s.
A venue the duo have returned to
The Espace James Chambaud has become a regular venue for TidyMess: they performed there on 27 January 2024, with seven musicians on stage and a string quartet, followed by a Telethon evening in November 2024.
