‘Yin Yang’, TidyMess’s third album, is now available
On , TidyMess released Yin Yang, their third album - on the same day, as the duo pointed out with a laugh, as Taylor Swift’s.
Twelve tracks, two years’ work
Forty-five minutes of music, delivered with a lovely mix of emotions: joy and excitement, but also nervousness and apprehension. The duo have put a great deal of heart, energy, sensitivity, passion and nuance into it.
The album has come a long way. It was funded by a crowdfunding campaign launched on 3 October 2023 - exactly two years to the day before its release - and its songs were first performed live in January 2024, even though they hadn’t yet been recorded anywhere.
Three singles preceded it: ‘Hypervivant’ in May, ‘Touche pas à ça’ in June and ‘Kaïzen’ in August 2025.
